I'm trying to make a backup from my Database in Rekordbox. I analyzed all my music on a windows computer and I would like to make a backup every week as precaution.
I have an external drive and I would like this external drive to have the exact same setup as my current Rekordbox database on my computer. (including cue points)
I would like to know this:
- Does (File > Library > Backup Library) backup my MP3 files aswell or only the analyzed data and cue points.
- Do I need to copy my MP3 files to the external drive aswell?
I saw some other posts about backupping aswell but I couldn't really understand/ follow what was being said regarding my issue.
I'm sorry for my English, I'm Dutch. I would appreciate any help and thanks in advance!
During the backup process, if you select to back up the music as well, it will all be included, but it's not in the zip - it's in a separate folder at the same location you choose for the database. Ensure your backup destination is not FAT32 or the database file may be too large (over 4GB) and you'll see an error message.
