I just recorded an external input via line 3. Admittedly, I recorded the master and perhaps that is not what you are looking for?

external source & ddj-1000
is it possible to record an external source in rekordbox via line 3 or 4 on a ddj-1000? i've done it with cdj's but so far doesnt seem possible with the 1000, thanks in advance.

Thanks for the response, my hope is to actually use an additional external effect unit and go out from it into one of the extra lines and tell the program to record that line instead of the master. I was able to do it in traktor before changing to rekordbox , but was also able to to in rekordbox itself before getting the 1000. Now the option to record an external source seems to be grayed out/ locked. Appreciate your input though.
