Rekordbox sync management - no device

I’ve just downloaded the latest version of recordbox, when i go to sync management to send my playlists to my usb and go to select a device there is ‘(no choice)’ and everything is greyed out. My laptop and usb are brand new and my usb is formatted fat32. Any help appreciated cheers
