Is there a way to change the sampler volume using the controller? I tried all the knobs and sliders using the Shift button but couldnt get it to move.
I also tried mapping it myself to the browse knob with shift but with that it only sets the sampler volume to 0 or 100, it doesnt change the volume gradually for some reason.
Is there any solution for this?

No, there is no dedicated level control for the DDJ-400 due to its limited size and market position. Please make the adjustments within the software using your mouse / keyboard, or another outboard MIDI control.

Thanks for the answer! I figured out how to map it myself to another know, ended up using the gain know since I barely use it.
I wish there was a feature to map the alternate functions of knobs holding shift. Is that something the rekordbox developers could look into adding in the future? Should I suggest it in the rekordbox forum?
Basically I'd like to be able map Shift+Knob separately from just the knob, that way I could map the sampler volume/gain to Shift+Knobs without using the original function
