Um...WOW!! That bad??

Hey all, was just about to upgrade to latest version of Rekordbox but from what I'm reading, not only no but, HELL to the N-O!!!

Didn't they just release this version recently? Is there any news or release date of a patch to fix the issues yet?  I just saw that they released this on 9/5/18.  Hopefully, we won't have to wait another 3 months for an update.

Hopefully, Rekordbox is reading all the comments and forums so that the program can be fixed.

Hey BearOH, I might recommend that you download it and install it in parallel to your existing version so you can try it for yourself instead of relying on the word of others who may have a different experience.

If you're using Mac, simply go into the Finder > Applications > rekordbox 5, and rename the rekordbox app to the version number (like I have here):

If you're in Windows, no need to remove the old one - it's already in a folder with the version number, and you're prompted during the installation process if you want to remove the old one (you can select not to).

It's bad. Don't do it.  Performance has gone down the drain.  Must have hired a bunch of new developers who need to learn the ropes or something.  It's become unusable and the issues are consistent across systems.

For me it did not load my library or was unable to import it. Reverting here as well.
