5.4 issue when playing vinyl through DDJ-1000

was unsure if this should go here or in the DDJ section.  When playing vinyl via PLX-1000 through my DDJ-1000 via channels 3 or 4 I have noticed since upgrading to Rekordbox 5.4 the master volume section next to the drop out meter does not register.  But the system is playing sound fine, it's just the bar is not registering the levels.

I have flipped channels 3/4 to run off USB A/B and all levels register correctly.  I have two PLX-1000's and the issue affects them both, also tried different headshells/cartridges so the issue appears to be in rekordbox  

DDJ firmware is 1.05
