Recording mixes and w/ Microphones on the DDJ-400 w/ rekordbox

I'm in the process of buying the ddj 400 from bestbuy canada, and I've checked out youtube videos but can not find the answer or video to how to record with microphone plugged in with rekordbox...

I spin DNB and I have an MC, I would like to record her voice rapping ontop of my mixes, is this possible??

Any answer will help, thanks in advance!!!

Sorry, the DDJ-400 mic is direct-to-output. It does not have an audio input on the mic to route it from the hardware into the computer and then back out, and as a result, it's not captured in the recording.

If you want to capture the mic in your master output, you will need to use a solution such as an external recorder or another audio interface to capture the audio to recording software.

I have the same question. I want to record a mix with a mic plugged in but i can't get the recording to pick up and sound from the mic, it only comes out my speakers.

I also have the same question. In my opinion, when recording, all audio going through the controller should be recorded. It should at the very least be optional. This doesn't make any sense to me.
