Rekordbox with DJM S9

Hello,

When you use DJM-S9 with Rekordbox, do you have to buy "Rekordbox DVS" or "Rekordbox DJ" licence is enough?

And do you have to buy Box "Pioneer DJ Interface 2" ?

Because i'm now using DDJ-RX and i've got "Rekordbox DJ" licence.
I want to upgrade on Vinyl stuff, but i don't want to migrate to Serato...

And there is no Battle Mixer dedicated to Rekordbox (DJM-R9..?).
Why Pioneer don't make battle Mixer like S9 but dedicated to Rekordbox ?

Thanks in advance for your answer !

If you're planning to use control vinyl with the DJM-S9 you'll need the DVS performance pack.

You don't have to buy the Interface 2 as the S9 already supports Rekordbox. I would also not recommend to get it since there are some issues with it playing vinyl (not control vinyl) properly.

Correct there is no dedicated Rekordbox battle mixer but the S9 would do for that purpose since it supports Rekordbox thanks to an update. What would make the S-9 different to a dedicated Rekordbox mixer?

Thanks for your answer.

Everythings is about the Price... 1700$ for the S9 + 100$ for DVS Licence + Timecoded Vinyl...

When you use Serato, you just buy S9 (licence included) and Timecoded Vinyl are often offered like a bundle..

I think Serato don't have the same Feature as Rekordbox. Interface is different, and everythings in Rekordbox is dedicated for Pioneer stuff.

I know that pioneer making business with Serato, and it's the way to make compatible pioneer stuff with many software, but when you make your own software, you have to fight for him, and maybe FIRST think about it.

It's like if Apple make materials for windows, but when you want to use Apple with Macos, you have to paid... it's doesn't make sense!!

thanks for your answer! ;)
