Why not connect all 3 by USB for HID connection? Not only do you get more control, but it is actually fewer cables. Just get a powered USB hub and away you go.

Rekordbox with CDJ's - Minimal Connections?
Hello, I am considering making the switch from Serato to Rekordbox DJ.
My current configuration is to simply use a USB cable from my laptop to the DJM900NXS2 and use a control tone on my USB to control the CDJ2000NXS2's thru digital cables (which are generally already plugged in when I get to the venue. This is has been a quick and easy setup for me when performing after a DJ so there is not many cables involved.
My question is - can this same setup be accomplished with Rekordbox DJ? I have seen online that there is DVS and HID modes, but both require multiple cables - usb or ethernet. HID mode looks promising but was wondering if pioneer made a usb to 3 way usb splitter for an easier setup?
Any suggestions would be helpful.
