Rekordbox Sampler Pitch, performance mode

Hello. I have noticed that the sampler slots have an MT button. When this is down it will play in its original pitch but my problem is that it wont alter the pitch when off.

Is there a specific file type or method for doing this?

Im presuming it would follow the master deck and adjust its pitch accordingly, i have tested this with numerous samples and numerous tracks in the deck and there is no change in pitch.

Also, separate note, is there a way to assign Slide FX on my xp1 to just affect the samples & is there a way to move the samples about from slot to slot? Thankyou
