LINK: Ethernet to USB-C adapter

I'm looking at getting a new macbook pro. I currently use EXPORT mode (Ethernet Cables/Hub and a Apple Ethernet-> thunderbolt adapter).

The new macbook pros only have USB-C connections. If I use an Ethernet to USB-C adapter, will it LINK via export mode still work when transfering tracks to CDJs?

Want to make sure that this is working properly and that is it stable before purchasing a new macbook pro (and if not, those of you out there who are using new macbook pros with LINK export mode, how do you do it?)
