Can i bypass my computer and use rekordbox from my external HD?

I have an external HD with 60 gb of music on it. My computer has only like 10 gb of space.

I want to access this music on my hard drive and organize it on rekordbox, in a way that keeps the files on my hard drive (rather than on my computer, where there is not enough space)

Is this possible?

I keep my music library and database on an external drive, it's not a problem to do just that. Simply add the music to your rekordbox library from its external location and it stays there. If you want, you can then also move the database to the external drive following the instructions here, but it's not a necessary step, especially if you don't plan on using that same library with different computers.

You mean drag them from the external drive into the rekordbox library window? Yes.
