Adding samples when recording through Rekordbox?

Hi all,

I'm recording and releasing my first mix in a few weeks. I'm doing my mix 100% live while playing through the link mode (so not performance mode). I would like to make some transitions sound more smooth by adding some samples on top. Is there a way to trigger/record these through the Rekordbox software while playing 2 tracks on my CDJ's?

My setup is 2x CDJ2000NXS2 and a DJM900nxs2.
