RB-DMX1 fixtures not working how it should be
I bought the RB-dmx1 for around 400 euro and it is still not supporting most of the features of my movingheads. Just a beam like a par light with different colours and strobe. Some real par lights even not all colours if you have rbgw and blacklight. Just standard red, green , blue and a mix of these colours. All the other features like gobos, zoom on my movingheads etc are still not working. Pioneer can you please fix that?

Yeah I dont understand what it is the purpose of this thing. 400 EUR for a useless box. Its a mobile DJ tool anyway and mobile DJ-s use these effects a lot these days..

I would say quite the contrary - it's a very functional unit and provides a simple way for DJs who have a variety of fixture types to create a beat-synced lighting show with very little effort.

I agree thats its functional and that it is beat synced. My problem is that at the moment that i bought this unit, pioneer promised me that all the functions wich are not supported jet, will be supported in the future in updates. So I bought this unit with the idea that I can fully use the capabilities of your fixtures or very soon after an update. Untill today nothing changed. Expensive movingheads only use simple colour beams. No gobos, no zoom, no rotation of gobos and only a few colours. When I ask pioneer about this the answer is the same:” probably in the future support”
I bought the unit on release date. We passed a year now. So how much patience do I need more?

@Hans > We've passed that frustration along to the lighting team for the last year - we understand that there was an expectation of updates but they have not delivered many of the requests users have made. I will point out that we have never guaranteed or promised that these functions or features would be included for certain, but rather that we hope they would be available in a future update. Much like you, I'm still waiting to hear more about these changes, but we don't provide any guarantee or timeline because we don't want to disappoint users if deadlines or expected features are missed.

Thanks for your fast reply. If this words has been said from the beginning I probably had not bought this unit. Its still a great unit but i probably would have choosen for a more complex system with all functionality on board. I still hope your team keeps on working at this unit and software because if you can control all functions of fixtures it will be also a perfect unit for the mobile djs who wants to do more with their lightshow.
