Memory cues with DDJ 1000 - and Rekordbox - annoying AF

Appreciate some advice - I have no problem setting either hot cues or memory cues, (particularly after going through posts, forums and youtube videos)  however even when I have set "memory cues" in export mode (i.e. can see them in the waveform etc and the red triangle at the top) and even when I have set the beats from here and locked down in export mode every time I reload the track the first cue (yellow down the bottom) is still way off. 

Seems really annoying that all the effort of setting memory cues does not seem to result in the first cue being at this spot - I've tried using the  cue / loop call buttons on the physical DDJ 1000 controller to get from the yellow auto cue (which is always out by a mile) to the one that I have set in export mode (and used the mouse to get to the right spot) however I seem unable to get to this.

I must be missing something really obvious because I just can't figure why this would be so uninstinctive in rekordbox - If you go to the hassle of setting memory cues why would the reload just not default to this as the first cue ??
