new Macbook Pro for rekordbox
Hello! I am using now a
MacBook Pro (13 Zoll, Anfang 2011)
i5 2,3
500 GB SSD
16GB RAM
Intel HD Graphics 3000, 512 VRAM, 1280 x 800
Since a few monts I am using rekordbox and I do have some sound issues. The support team here knows about the problem. But we can't solve it. We came to the conclusion that die graphic chip is a little bit too slow.
So my question: Is it clver to buy a (used) macbook pro 15,4 with this specs:
Betriebssystem: Mac OS Mojavi 10.14.2
Prozessor:
Intel Core i7-3615QM, 2,3 GHz Basisfrequenz, 3,3 GHz mit Turbo Boost
1. (integrierte) Grafikeinheit:

Arbeitsspeicher:
8GB 1600 MHz DDR3

How much do I improve my system with that? Will I be happier wth that system or is there less effort than I think?

I didn't notice a huge difference from my 2011 iMac to my 2018 MacBook Pro. I do see a speed difference in rendering my mixsets. If a program needs multicore processor, you will see a difference.
