Optimise rekordbox message

Yesterday when I opened rekordbox a window appeared that said something about Rekordbox wasn't fully optimised, and had 2 buttons. One said "Learn more" and the other I think said Yes or ok. By mistake I pressed ok, but now when I restart rekordbox the window doesn't appear anymore, even since restarting my MacBook.

Does anyone know what this message might have been referring to? and how would I go about optimising it?

Thanks

That's just the OS telling you that one of the portions of the application is not 64bit (it's one of the networking modules). Currently, legacy 32bit modules and applications can continue to operate, but in an effort to provide a more secure computing environment, Apple decided to start warning users as the next version of the OS will likely block them completely.

Pioneer DJ is aware of this and will have it updated in a future release. For the time being, there's no need to worry.

I've had this too and now my DDJ-RB isn't responding apart from the Master Volume knob, Hot cue and Sampler buttons. No other buttons have any response. This is literally all of a sudden after working perfectly fine a couple od weeks ago. The DDJ unit has been stored in a flight case the whole time and my OS hasn't had any updates that I know of. I am running the latest Rekordbox software and Drivers for my unit so I can't understand why this is happening. I have gigs coming ump and currently can't use my unit. Can anybody help me please?

@Jor-El > As posted above, and as a reply to your other post, this is not a problem and wouldn't cause the controller not to respond. Chances are your OS is what's causing the issue with a security block.

Try connecting the controller to a different USB port, or try another USB cable.

I've tried a different USB port, that didn't work and there's nothing wrong with the cable. I am running Mojave 10.14 and have not had any updates which would change any settings, nor have I manually changed any. As I said previously it was working fine a couple of weeks ago, the unit has been in a flight case since then, I plugged it in to use it today and all of a sudden it's not reading the unit.

Still, please try a different USB cable, even if you think nothing's wrong with it - that would at least eliminate that as potential failure point.

I'm going to have to order a new one and give that a try. If it doesn't work I'll get back to you.

Thanks.
