DDJ-1000 Volume (Meter) Question?

Good Afternoon,

My apologies for the duplicate post, however a representative from Pioneer asked me to try this channel one more time...

New to Pioneer equipment and having a hard time figuring out why I can't seem to get the volume levels on Channel 1 and Channel 2 to match accurately.  I have everything at the 12 o clock position and no matter what I do with the settings (Have even played the same song concurrently while using crossfader to go back and forth to judge volume levels) and Channel 1 is always a hint (noticeably through studio monitors) louder.

This is also reflected on the LED Volume meter as channel one shows the first orange level lit, while channel 2 stays put on the last green marker.

All volumes, and eq levels are set exactly the same.

Any Ideas?

Thank you so much in advance!

Sorry, I will address the elephant in the room; there is no "batch" of "bad faders," but our engineering team is working to improve the accuracy of the crossfader. There is no recall necessary, and we thank you for your patience.

unfortunately my friend the ddj1000 has had a bad batch of crossfaders installed. this is whats causing the volume changes you've described along with visualisation from the leds

however their is light. Pioneer's engineering team are working their nuts off to resolve this for us whom are affected. I've also been told (by an official pio engineer) that something is coming to us quite soon.

I hope this helps against your confusion with your controllers volume setup for the time being.

Would be great if we know what bath was affected. Do you think Pioneer will recall devices? Cheers

Don't think they will recall. They didn't do that when there was an issue with the headphone having a low electric buzz sound.

Probably a fix by sending the unit in to a service point.
