RB-DMX1 - Lighting Mode - How to control amber and UV?

Hi, I'm only beginning with DMX and lighting in general, so this might be a really stupid question...

The Lighting Fixture that I want to control ha:

  • RGB
  • White
  • Amber
  • UV

When setting colour, I can only enter RGB values though... :-/

Does that mean that my Light's White / Amber / UV-capabilities will not be used?

Currently, no - UV / W / A controls are not available, but we hope this is added in a future update.

Ok - is there a workaround, for example if

  • RGB is on channels 3-5 and
  • W-A-UV is on channels 6-8

...that I can treat them as two different lighting fixtures, effectively controlling setting RGB values with fixture 1, and setting W-A-UV values with fixture 2?

I have seen these "generic" lighting fixtures in the fixture library, are they meant for situations like this?

No, I wouldn't recommend that, and generic fixtures are more basic fixtures which may not allow for additional controls.

Ok, thank you for the quick replies!

Would be great to see UV capabilities in the future :-)
