Rekordbox HID with CDJ2000s - Freezing Issue

Hi, I use a pair of CDJ2000 Nexus running in HID mode with Rekordbox (running video). I have an issue which keeps randomly happening maybe once a night.

On one of the CDJs, the browser section of the display freezes. The rotary control still works and moves the cursor in rekordbox on my macbook, but the list of tracks shown on the CDJ doesnt move, its just frozen. The lower part of the display, showing the waveform, time etc does still work, and the track plays fine. I can load new tracks and play them with no issue, but the top part of the display stays frozen.

As mentioned, the player carries on playing and loading new tracks fine via rekordbox with no issue. BUT, if i press something like the USB or CD buttons on the CDJ to play from a different media, the CDJ then hangs, showing the spinning WAIT symbol. After 30 seconds or so the CDJ will then become unresponsive and has to be power cycled to fix.

This generally happens only once in a night, after about 2-3 hours of playing. Once it has happened it will normally not happen again that night. I have tried with different USB cables and different CDJs (this has been an ongoing issue for a couple of years, and the venue has changed CDJs a number of times). So I am confident it is not a CDJ issue, but something rekordbox related.

All firmware is up to date and using the latest recordbox on a Macbook pro 2015 with i7 processor.
