It's not going to be the best quality, as it's going via a headphone amplifier, but yes, that would work.
Would I effectively be able to sample from my smartphones headphone jack using an Aux to a 2 line 1/4 TS jack,
In order to be able to bypass the need for a cdj?
At the moment I am still unsure as to what I am able to use as a sampling source. And not being able to play audio files that are longer than 64 seconds has put a speed bump in creative processes.
I don't want to pre chop ideas before putting them on a flash drive and was really hoping to get away from using the computer altogether while brainstorming.

So I would need a preamp between the phone and the toraiz?
No -- the output level should be fine, I'm just saying that because the signal from your phone is going out through a headphone amplifier, it wouldn't be as good a quality as a standard line level output.
The plug should be in the mailbox today. In the event that the signal is too low or something, do you think I'd have to get an irig 2 or roland go mixer? Just excitedly waiting for the plug to show I today.
Shouldn't be necessary.
