Live Sample BPM adjust.

Hello.  I was wondering if there is a way to adjust the bpm of recorded live samples.  So if I record a 30 sec acapella from my cdj at 128 bpm can I then use the pitch fader on the DJS-1000 to speed the sample up if I then want to play it over a 135 bpm track?
