Hi.
We have a DDJ-sb3, and have plugged it into the ipad using the lightning/midi/usb adapter.
The ipad is running the algorithm Djay pro.
The DDJ controller does not light up, and also the ipad does not seem to "see" the controller.
Any pointers will be appreciated.
Thanks in advance
Clive
You didn't mention it was an iPad... I can't guarantee that will work as the SB3 is not designed as an iPad compatible device since it requires USB power.
Hi.
Just a follow up in case this may help someone out there.
We used a powered USB hub between the DDJ and the apple midi adapter, so that the DDJ gets enough power, and its working very nicely on the ipad.
Cheers
Thanks for that added info!
I have a DDJ SB3, Djay Pro, iPad and a lightning Camera cable. When I connect everything my DDJ doesn't light up. Would you please give step by step instructions? I really want to try my controller with Djay first (especially since I paid over $30 for the camera kit).
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
@DJ_abba reported above, he was able to get it working with a powered USB hub and the camera kit (USB adapter).
