XDJ 1000 Mk2 emergency loop and bad USB reading

Hello;

I recently bought 2 xdj's 1000 mk2 from a retailer in Portugal and noted that they appeared to have some problems, they were always getting into random emergency loops, took loads of time to load each song, had some bad reaction times etc.. I contacted the retailer and they activated the warranty and sent them to Service Portugal, the official pioneer repairing location. They came back saying they didn't find any problems with the hardware and when I called them to ask about it they were sure the problem wasn't a hardware problem. Im starting to think the problem comes from my cheap 3.0 Kingston USB that isn't that good but I don't want to spend loads of money on a premium usb not knowing if that is the problem or not. If someone can point out the most probable reason for the problems I would be grateful. If the problem is the USB's I also ask for someone to recommend mid ranged USB's that will work 100% with normal XDj's.

Thanks!

It's almost certain that the issues with the playback are from low quality USB drives. Here's a video I made on USB drives (more to do with export speeds, but it outlines some issues with low quality devices).

I only recommend 2 USB drives from my personal testing: SanDisk Extreme Pro or Corsair GTX. I would also recommend the Samsung T5 SSD if you're going that route.
