pro dj link with usb cable

hey guys, just found out that i can link cdj 2000nxs2 with my laptop using a single usb cable (rekordbox in export mode). so i can use my laptop as a flashdrive. but, when i tried on cdj 2000nxs, it doesnt work.

my question is, are this feature only limited for cdj 2000nxs2? thanks.

Yes, this was made available when the NXS2 came out as it was around the same time laptops no longer had ethernet jacks built-in, so our engineers created an alternative (the USB bridge).

For older players, you'll either have to link them to a CDJ-2000NXS2, XDJ-1000MK2, DJM-900NXS2, or any TOUR1 product, which could connect over the bridge, or you'll have to resort to using an ethernet adapter. Sorry!

wow thats nice, so if i have this setup 2x cdj 2000nxs & djm 900nxs2, all equipments are linked via router, i can plug my laptop to the mixer with usb cable to using it as link export?
