DDJ-SB3 Won't Show in Any Software

Please help me I've been through every forum and every thread trying to fix this problem.My brand new sb3 will not show on any type of software. it shows dim lights with the Hot cue and Vinyl buttons full lit. I don't have speakers to connect it too though I didn't think that would be an issue to atleast get it to show on my laptop. don't know if that's an issue.
