How to put back music on rekordbox

My macbook crashed last week and i was unable to make a backup of rekordbox. I bought a new macbook and reinstalled rekordbox.

I do have an external hard drive, wich i used as a folder from where i put all my music into rekordbox (so the original folder) and i do have my 2 usb's that i use for when performing, and those are completely rekordbox based.

Is there an easy way to put back all my stuff in rekordbox or do i have to start all over again?

@Joris > You have 2 options; first, you can start from scratch by importing all of the music from the source drive, or second, you can recover the music with beat grids and memory / hot cues from your export devices, but the folder structure for your music files themselves won't be as it was before -- see below for details.

If you're doing it the second way, follow these steps:

  1. Connect the USB drive, and then under the device, add a new playlist (on the drive), call it "Import These"
  2. Click All Tracks (under the device name), and drag all of those songs to the "Import These" playlist.
  3. Right-click on the "Import These" playlist and select Import Playlist. A window will prompt you with where you’d like to import the music; the default is the user’s /Music/PioneeDJ/Imported from Device/ folder, which will be sorted by /<artist>/<album>/ per the songs’ metadata.

If there's any music on there you had in your collection but didn't export, you'd have to bring that in from the other drive.

Let me know if you have any other questions.
