Probably you've formatted your external drive in FAT32 but in GUID.
When you do a full FAT32 format in MBR the issue most probably will be solved.

External hard drive
I updated my Rekordbox to 5.4.3 and afterwards when I tried to sync playlists my external hard drive was not recognised. I looked on a Pioneer forum and they suggested that I update my external hard drive format to FAT32.
I have done this and rekordbox is now recognising my external hard drive and analysing tracks onto it however when I put it into my CDJ 2000 a message comes up saying "foramt USB".
Not really sure where I have gone wrong here! My external hard drive model is a Seagate BUP BK model, 4TB, HDD.
