Have you tried rebooting? It could be as simple as one of the installer processes still hanging open in the background.

DDJ-1000 Driver issue
I cannot install the DDJ-100 driver after a Rekordbox update, therefore I cant use my DDJ-1000 and I'm getting annoyed now.
Upon install I get a error code 002 installation failed, why is it only an issue now and I have never encountered it before, I have also redownloaded the driver and made sure everything is up to date.

Are you possibly trying to install the driver with the DDJ-1000 connected to the computer?

I’m having the same issue.
So I uninstalled everything.
I’m running windows 10
If the controller is not plugged in everything works through the computer speakers.
I downloaded the driver with the controller not on and said successful.
Once I turn the controller on the window pops up saying ddj-1000 is set up.
But nothing.
I go to the audio setting on rekordbox and it shows I have no driver.
This is getting crazy

Ok, figured out the fix.
I wish this was cut and clear instructions.
Download the rekordbox without the ddj connected until it says connect the controller.
Then update the software without the ddj connected.
Then disconnect and download the driver
Reboot the computer
Then execute record box with the controller plugged in but not on
Once the program is running, then turn on the controller.
