Power cable not snug/rca inputs do not look symmetrical
Just bot new xdj rx2 from bop dj
in leeds.
after setting up I noticed the power cable fits, but not as snugly as I would imagine.
on further investigation I also noticed that the rca inputs do not look aligned properly. Shall I send pic so you can confirm if it needs to be returned to the store.

The power cable is loose and if touched lightly powers off the unit.....this does not really translate to being photographed.....is there any way I can send video, as the “give” can be seen

My ground lug, (For the vinyl) fell off!
No biggie, but i made sure it did not broke inside!
That could lead to a short out!
Try a different cable, preferably a new one.
old ones get worn!

As for the power, it could be the cable isn't pushed in far enough - a video would help if you feel it needs further explanation.
