Please try connecting it directly to a USB port rather than through an adapter. If a USB-C to USB-B cable or USB-C to USB-A adaptor is required, please try that.
Hello,
Just purchased DDJ- SR2 controller. Everything is hooked up ready to go but when i plug my usb cable into my hyperport adapter for usb3 it says failed to connect audio. I have Serato Pro software installed on my macbook pro. I -re- installed drivers, restarted my computer multiple times, updated everything. Cant get past this error message. I looked at the USB reader for my macbook and it recognizes the SR2 just wont connect to the software. Thanks for your help.

I tried two different adaptors and am getting the same message. My MacBook does not have a USP port. only usb-C so i need an adaptor. Any other ideas?
Disconnect the SR2 and try resetting the NVRAM.
