I want to get into DVS and have already a DDJ-1000. I just saw a video from Digital Dj Tips and they said that DVS needed a sound card. I think i have heard that the DDJ1000 has a build in sound card, so i want to know if you can use dvs with only the ddj 1000 and a laptop. And if yes, how do you do that?

I think you miss understood the DDJT video. You need the DVS plus pack to be able to use the DVS feature.
The DDJ-1000 has everything needed (hardware wise).
