DDJ 1000 Change loop segment (1/2-1-2-4-8) from controller

Hi, I am a former owner of the DDJ RX in the LOOP section I had the possibility from the controller before activating it, to select the loop segment I wanted (1 / 4-1 / 2-1-2-4-8) directly from the controller buttons. How can I do the same thing on the DDJ 1000?
