I'm recordings sets on the XDJ-RX2, but they aren't appearing in Rekordbox when I plug the USB into my PC and copy the data from USB back into Rekordbox. I can see the recordings files in the USB - but there's no .cue file - which I realy liked how Rekordbox does when you record using it.
Is my only option to copy the recordings manually from the USB? I was hoping they would be in Rekordbox so I could easily upload them.

There is no cue sheet created with the recording, just a WAV file (or series of WAV files if you use the TRACK MARK button).
It doesn't appear automatically within rekordbox because it wasn't recorded within rekordbox, it just treats it as another file on the USB drive. You'd need to manually import it to the computer.

I'm not entirely clear what you are trying to do here but when you drag something into RBs collection you are not moving any files from anywhere to anywhere else, you are simply telling RB where to locate the files that you want in your RB library, so if you drag or import it from your recording USB it'll go to that usb to play it back, this obviously is not a good practice. Your best bet is to copy the recordings from your usb to your PC or Mac's music storage location, rename the files, then import them into your RB collection

I should be clear on what I am trying to do.
1. Collection/playlists from Rekordbox to USB
2. USB in XDJ-RX2 (not attached to Rekordbox)
3. Play tracks from USB and record set onto USB
4. Want to upload the recorded set to Kuvo and MixCloud
#4 is what I want to do. I thought Rekordbox would import my recording from the USB, but it doesn't. I know that if I record a set in Rekordbox I can easily upload my recorded set, and I want to do this give 1-3 above. I'm guessing there is no way, and I have to just copy the recording from the USB into my PC and do it that way (using history as the tracklisting).
Does that make more sense?

I use steps 1 -3 then copy my recordings to my PC, normailze the recording using Adobe Audition, save the file and upload to Mixcloud

I set CUE points in Recordbox on my Mac - easier to work on my Mac. Order tracks from lowest BMP and up in each playlist.
Then I export the playlists from Recordbox (Mac) to the USB. I was hoping it would appear the same way on the USB and my screen on my XDJ-RX2, but not.
Whats the easiest way to make this happen? I can see that you have tried to explain to me over here but did not quite understand it.
