Recording vinyl through rexordbox and Xdj RX2

Hello. I want to records some vinyl through my RX2 into rekordbox but cant get it to work. In the audio settings I have rx2 Asio selected. The input audio selector is greyed out and cant be changed

In the record section of rekordbox there is nothing showing in the channel select and no audio is coming in (nothing shows on the meter). If I go to performance mode the input channel reads MASTER OUT, but cant be changed and no audio shows in the meter

Everything sounds good and looks fine on the RX2 unit when playing the vinyls (phono input).

Ive tried recording to usb but all I get is an empty wav file (no surprise there)
