So are you trying to map the on board Filter knobs to be color fx knobs, or are you trying to map another knob to be a color fx knob?
Hi,
I have a DJM-250MK2 and i'm trying to configure it so that I can enable and colour FX in Rekordbox from the mixer itself - is that possible?
The FX all work when I trigger them with the mouse but moving the colour dial doesn't change it and hitting the filter button on the mixer just turns the default filter FX on. How can I engage the FX in Rekordbox with the controller instead?
Thanks,
Tom

Thanks for your help,
I’m trying to map the on board ones. None of the the filter button, colour or parameter knobs do anything in the FX section at all - they just apply the default filter that is on the mixer. I have set the aux to computer and tried the “learn” function in the MIDI strings but it didn’t pick it up there either.
I must be missing something but I don’t know what.
I wouldn't recommend it - the mixer is mainly for use as an external-mixer mode device, meaning even if you mapped those controls and were able to engage the CFX in the software, you'd also have the CFX from the hardware effecting the audio passing through that channel.
