RB to RX

Just to clarify I am new to a lot of this and just do this for fun so my knowledge is very minimal. 

I've just upgraded from the DDJ RB to the DDJ RX. Ill be honest i rely quite heavily on syncing tracks just to make things a little easier for myself, but im finding the sync seems too drift off at times or just not sync up to the grid properly. 

Also changing from RB to RX ive noticed the tracks all sound as if the reverb FX is stuck on or something, just sounds a lot more bassy(?) if thats even a word. 

Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated.
