How to connect Computer to 3x XDJ 1000 MK2 + DJM 750 MK2

Hey Guys,

I tried several ways to connect my Computer to my 3 XDJ's and DJM now and didn't succeed.

I connected the three XDJ's with the delivered Lan Cables and a Switch Hub. I am able to use all three XDJ's when i plug in an USB-Drive. But I also want to use my Laptop sometimes and dont always want to export my library to an external Drive first.

I am able to connect my Laptop to just one XDJ via USB-Cable, but then the other XDJ's cant access that music via the Ethernet connection between the XDJ's. I already recognised that DJ-Pro Link unfortunately doesn't work like that.

But I am also not able to connect to the three XDJ's when I connect my Laptop via Ethernet to the Switch Hub where the 3 XDJ's are already connected. The Player Number in the XDJ Screen shines white then(so DJLink seems to work) but I cant access any music with the XDJ's..

Is there any possibility to connect my DJM750 and the XDJ's to my Computer, so that i can choose the music of my computer in the XDJ's and the sound is coming out of the DJM?

I couldnt find any solution in the DJ Pro Link PDF

First, try troubleshooting just a single deck to see if that will connect and communicate. If it can, then there's no issue with your computer and the problem is the switch/hub you're using (or possibly some of the cabling).

More often than not, however, the problem is the computer, as there are a few places it can choke the connection - including, but not limited to, an ethernet adapter, having WiFi enabled, the firewall, the ethernet zone setting (Windows - Private vs. Public), having other servers or network services running, malware / viruses...

Start with this article for some basic troubleshooting steps.
