About 1-2 times per set one of the decks (or sometimes both) enters default mode right after Rekordbox displays an error related to a deck. The case that I noticed was when I was trying to set the CUE before the start of the track. In this default state the deck does not display any waveform information and all the pads in all the modes have a purple colour.
To get back in "normal mode" I have to load a new track, but this fixes just the waveform. I then have to get into each pad mode and press all the pads to "reactivate" them.
I updated the firmware version on the console when I bought it and my MacBook Pro is updated to the latest software version. The USB cable is the one provided in the box.
