FollowCue points, playlists lost in Rekordbox crash
I use Rekordbox on both my main MacBook for gigs and on my backup MacBook. I regularly backup Rekordbox on my main MacBook as well as backing up the MacBook itself, but as the backup MacBook is just that, a backup, I hadn't actually backed it up or backed up Rekordbox on it.
I always have Rekordbox running on the backup MacBook while I'm doing a gig so that I could easily switch over to it in case anything happened to my main MacBook.
At a gig last week on the backup Mac, Rekordbox suddenly crashed. When I restarted it, it had lost all the data for the music library and restarted with a completely empty library.
It wasn't a major issue at the time as the main Mac was working fine and I didn't need to use the backup, however I haven't been able to restore the original library to it - it's easy to put the same tracks back on it as they're still on that Mac but it's lost all the playlists, cue points etc.
My main Mac has a library of about 5,000 tracks (the main tracks I need for 99% of gigs), whereas the backup Mac has a library of about 35,000 tracks, which obviously has a lot of tracks that I rarely/never play, but because of the different size libraries it means I can't use the backup from the main Mac to restore Rekordbox on the backup Mac.
I have now re-imported all of the tracks back into the backup Mac and the files are still in the same location. Is there any way I'd be able to restore all the old cue points and playlists?
I'm presuming the data would be contained on maybe an xml file somewhere within hidden files?
