Rekordbox 5.6.1 XML import problems

Seems that since the update there is a change in how the rekordbox XML files are imported. Maybe some form of caching was added?

In 5.6.0:

1. Load rekordbox XML (press the tiny reload button)

2. Load a test track with cue points into the player

3. Notice your cue points should exist

4. Edit the XML and remove cue points so the test track you loaded in step 2 no longer has any cue point

5. Reload the XML (tiny button)

6. Load track into player

7. No cue points. As one would expect

Now if you do the exact same above in 5.6.1 then step 7 would be this:

7. Track still has the same cue points. Even though XML does not have them anymore.

What I also noticed is that loading a track into the player from the xml window is a tiny bit faster. Hence why I think some form of caching may have been added/changed here.

Please try to reproduce this.

I was unable to reproduce when manually editing rekordbox.xml file and adding a Beatport track to the playlist. When I click the refresh icon the change was immediately visible.

Ill try your steps later when I am back at my desk and have access to rekordbox again/

This isn't regarding playlists though, just about tracks themselves. It seems if you reload the same track, it will use a cached version and not the new version.

Has this been listed as one of the next priority fixes? Like many other ReCK users, I am also experiencing the same issue and therefore I am forced NOT to upgrade my software to keep the obsolete 5.6.0..

Please can you promise you guys will look into this? It's been over a year already 🙏

Our engineers are aware of this but we don't have any information on timeline or availability of a fix. Thanks for your patience.
