Both > Which OS and version of rekordbox are you using?
I am the same issue. Most up-to-date version of Rekordbox and MacOS Carolina
@Joe > Chances are you didn't allow it through the OS security; please try uninstalling, then reinstall the drivers to get the prompt to allow it.
I am having this issue but with windows ten. DDJ-400 wont connect to rekordbox 5.8. typically there is a little message when I plug in the device and that doesn't happen anymore.
Hey Sean, please check that Windows doesn't have the DDJ-400 selected as the default audio device. You can also open the rekordbox preferences on the Audio tab, scroll to the bottom and see if the DDJ-400 is showing as a control device.
Same problem. Everything has been working well on my 8 year old Toshiba for the last 6 months . just bought a new HO with Intel 11th Gen i5, whick before I bought I contacted Pioneer and that told me it would work. Everthing is updated, Realtek drivers, ddj400 firmware. firewall down triend versions 5, 6.0 and the newest6.1.5 nothing, but again works well with old laptop. so my controller is fine. Cant beleive there seems to be no fix from Pioneer yet. frustrating to say the least
To add, No control devices showing in rekordbox
"Intel 11th Gen i5"
There's the problem! Our engineers are aware of an issue on those computers where the Realtek audio drivers will potentially cause other audio devices and MIDI controllers not to be recognized. Please check with your computer's manufacturer to see if they have any driver updates available, or any BIOS updates. Short of that, you may need to roll back the version of Windows you're using.
When will this fix be completed. I just bought an intel I7 11th Gen and a DDJ but cant use it.
@Armando > The fix is reliant on your computer manufacturer issuing an updated audio driver or BIOS to fix the issue. It's possible that Microsoft could also provide an update to fix it, but from what I understand, you're more likely that the fix is going to come from the hardware side.
so its basically useless if you are using realtek audio?
@andy > No, it's only due to a conflict between the CPU and the audio drivers at the system level; it doesn't matter if you're actually using the Realtek device or not. Check your manufacturer's support site for updated drivers or BIOS.
