Deactivation problem please help

Hi please can someone help me. I have sold my controler to a friend, i was using it one last time on friday and my laptop got stolen. Now the problem i have is that i cannot open up recordbox to deactivate the licence key has i dont have my laptop to do this. What other way can i deactivate this key so i can pass it on????
