DDJ-1000 servicing cross-fader?

Just wondering, in older Pioneer controllers e.g. DDJ-SX the cross-fader can be easily serviced by removing two screws. There are no such screws on the DDJ-1000, instead there is an acrylic faceplate which is, presumably, glued in place concealing a bunch of screws under it. Can someone confirm? Thanks!
