Loops with DVS vinyl possible?

Usually I use rekordbox with my DDJ1000 console. Using loops is easy there. Now I bought DVS license and timecode vinyl. Beside this I also baught Interface 2 to use DVS without controller at a regular mixer.

Does anyone know if it is possible to use the loop function when playing on DVS timecode vinyl and laptop? Found nothing in web.

Thx, Matt

Yes; just put the deck in REL (relative) mode and you can control the loop with the DDJ or directly within the software.

Thank you. That works perfect. What is the difference between ABS and REL mode?

You can't loop in absolute mode as it depends where the needle is on the timecode.

You've probably found this out by now, but when looping using turntables, slight fluctuations in the turnable speeds means looping won't be as exact as if you're doing it within the software. If it was possible to sync the dvs to the beatgrid and not just the BPM (like you can in Serato), life would be easier.
