No, sorry.
Is there a reason you need to downgrade?
hello, see title - is it possible to re-install an older firmware version? thanks & cheers

Yes, I've upgraded to Version 1.60 and now on every single project I ever saved if I press play or record nothing happens anymore. The same if I create a new project. Nothing happens, zero, nada.
During the firmware update everything went normal. No issues. I also already updated the firmware before when verison 1.50 etc came out - there was 100% no user error or any other issue during the firmware update.
see linked pics of the firmware update process.
Is it possible your "SYNC" is set to external and the SP-16 is waiting for an external clock signal?
Hi, thanks for the reply, but where is this setting? I use the SP-16 standalone. I've never messed with any SYNC settings or SYNC preferences or other stuff except for USB MASS STORAGE mode to transfer samples from my PC.
Again - right until before the firmware update everything worked without any problems. After the firmware update not.
It's in the settings. There were some major changes regarding midi I/O. It's possible that the default is set to sync to external instead of internal somehow.
that's idiotic. why would anyone set a standalone machine like the sp-16 waiting for an external sync by default?
ok, I've created a new empty project and that's what the settings (wheel symbol upper right corner) look like. I didn't apply any changes.
Your "Sync Source" is set to DIN MIDI. Change that to Internal.
hi Mdinight Music Club, thanks. Pioneer shoud pay you money for doing their job.
can't check it right now, but will report later. cheers
hi Mdinight Music Club, looks like that was it. thanks again for doing the pioneer forum staff's job. Also, thanks to Pioneer for messing up the machine MIDI settings with the firmware update and for shining with absence in this forum. cheers
