I just read the other post about the Support for Flac files in the recordbox app. There you told us it wouldnt work because of Apple. Ok so no Flacs on iPhones. But whats up with android?
And what sense makes an App for djing if I cant use my Flac files in the app? Some people just use Flacs so the app isnt for them?
It would be really great if you consider supporting Flacs, at least on android. I know Apples rules suck hard.... I would love to use the app and be able to manage my track collection with my mobile phone.

I'm a bit surprised this hasn't got more upvotes. I would love to see flac support in the Android app. I appreciate that investing time in developing a feature for a subset of the mobile market might be unattractive but flac is my default format and modern phones/tablets have a lot of storage so filesize is much less of an issue than it used to be. Anyway, just my +1.
Pioneer DJ stated that Android will not be getting the new Mobile at "at this time".
They have used the argument many developers who do not want to developer for the Android eco system. Too many devices (screen sizes) and OS version (some users have 5.0 devices). I'll be keeping my opinion about this to myself.
As for FLAC, according to the latest version on iOS FLAC should be supported.
