There is no adjustment for the pressure switch on the XDJ-XZ; it's not a capacitive jog as you find on other DDJ units, it's the same as our CDJ models. Sorry.
Hi. Is there any way to adjust the jog wheel touch sensitivity. I notice when I scratch I have to push down a little more than I would like to have the touch register as a scratch. Thanks.

no one has responded to this yet? we did spend $2500 on this unit. would be nice to get a solution.
Thank you kindly for your prompt response. So your saying there is no adjustment? Does this mean these units could be faulty? I mean I texted out the cdjs and no way is it similar to this. There is more structure in that one this one seems somewhat flimsy
@jimmy > There is no adjustment available for the pressure required to activate the scratch. If there is a fault, you'd know it - the jog would likely engage the scratch at the slightest touch, indicating the pressure switch has failed.
Without having my hands on those jogs, I couldn't say with any certainty if one is "flimsy" but having used every model of CDJ since the dawn of the product, the XDJ-XZ jogs compare very closely (almost exactly) to the CDJ-2000NXS/2 units with the adjustable tension. The pressure required on each is nearly identical as well. If you compare one jog to the other, are both feeling the same?
It’s actually the opposite when you put your hand on the jog it stops if you maintain your hand on the jog but ease of the pressure just a bit it resumes playback. You can I’m even do backspin and the jog doesn’t register. So you have to push down to maintains a scratch.
To backspin you would need to first press down enough to engage the scratch, then spin and it should maintain the backspin.
