I am unable to record on Rekordbox. I am using a DDJ 400 and a Macbook Air with Rekordbox 5.8.2. When I hit the red record button, it blinks once but does not begin to record. The volume meter is moving, since the only response I got when I inquired about this issue was, "is the volume meter moving". Recording does not work whether plugged into my DDJ 400 or not. Could anyone help me with a fix? I would really appreciate it.
You may need to allow the mic access to rekordbox; go into your System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Privacy tab > select Microphone on the left > click the check-box beside rekordbox on the right.

same problem here. flashing record button - not recording. This must mean something? tried the system pref solution above.. didn't work. what next?
@Jeremy > Which device are you using for the audio output, and is it in external or internal mixer mode?
