Collect all tracks, playlists and data into one location

Hi

My hard drive is a bomb site and I need to clean it up. If I do this though, all of my tracks and playlists in Rekordbox are going to unlinked. I would like to collect all of this data into one folder on my internal hard drive. I will then use this file as my library and add copies of new tracks to this in order to have my library all in one place.

When I "Backup library" and "Restore library" it analyses the tracks again thus losing my cue points and my playlists.

I tried exporting the playlists but it is only possible to do this to an external drive.

I ultimately want to do a "collect all and save" as per in Ableton. I really hope this is possible. Can anyone tell me how to do this?

Many thanks in advance.

The easiest way to do this is to File > Library > Backup Library, and when you're asked if you want to include all the music, say "Yes."

Close rekordbox, wipe your drive of all the music you have (or just stick it all somewhere safe for the time being), then open rekordbox and restore the backup you just made using File > Library > Restore Library. It will prompt you for where you want to restore the music (which was in a folder beside the database backup, but will be moved into one consolidated location of your choosing).

There will be no re-analysis required and all your hot cues and other changes will be restored as well.
